Executive Director. Founder


MS in Education, BS in Social work, Kade Janes is a veteran teacher, leader, and entrepreneur. With over 25 years in private school education, founder of life coaching certificate program AllGrownUp, he founded Iron Gate Outpatient Therapy Services and Iron Gate Therapeutic Housing for Young Adults to optimize young lives that need community integration with active learning and mentorship. Iron Gate’s vibrancy is enhanced with the energy of both Cedar City’s Southern Utah University (SUU) and SWTech Institute–Kade’s purpose in creating a bridging, supported and healing program is seen and felt at Iron Gate.

High School athletic coach, champion women’s arm wrestler, mother of two teens, Camille is the daily presence Iron Gate students can depend upon. When Camille was approached by founder Kade Janes to move from part time Mentor/Coach to the full time position of RPD, it was a fit for both students and staff–she is the anchor of stability at Iron Gate.

Janelle is a wife, a mom, a nurse, and a special member of our team. Her demeanor and her expertise make her the perfect fit for our program and for each of our clients.

Therapist


Scott has worked as a therapist in youth services and in private practice. He has been a clinical director in residential treatment centers, specializing in disruptive behavior disorders as well as addiction disorders. His calm demeanor and years of experience make him a great asset to our team.

Sarah Persha, MA, CMHC

Therapist, Learning Specialist, Parent Coach, Mental Health and Educational Case Manager, IECA Emeritus


Sarah joined Iron Gate Outpatient Services as a subcontracted clinician and Parent Coach, as well as clinical case manager and learning support specialist for Iron Gate students. Sarah, Scott, and other leads from Iron Gate Outpatient Services run groups as well, from process addiction to social skills and DBT skills. Sarah, who has served teens, young adults and families for over 30 years, moved to Cedar City in October of 2022 from the Pacific Northwest. She has designed and supported Young Adult Transition Programs for years, has been an active liaison for Gap Year Association, and is a member of YATA.

Shauna Watson

Shauna is an experienced coach and is certified in breath work. She has worked for years helping individuals and families work through the struggles of pornography addiction. Shauna is experienced in running groups for those struggling with addiction and for women needing support.

Nathan’s heart is as big as his laugh. With a lifetime of experience and insight on how to serve those who are struggling through addiction, anxiety and depression, Nathan is more than equipped at supporting and guiding someone working through difficulty.

After graduating with a degree in psychology and being accepted into the inaugural Doctorate of Psychology program at Southern Utah University. Wes also facilitates groups serving those who struggle with pornography addiction.
